Membership

Membership in the Fraternity is open to baptized Catholic men in good standing with the Church who are at least 18 years of age. Postulants are of high moral character, free of disordered passions, and faithful to the Commandments of God and of the Church. Additionally, Postulants exhibit maturity, self-control, stability, and a peaceable temperament. Candidates for the Postulancy are only considered upon the recommendation of a Brother, who also serves as his Sponsor. The Candidate is required to fill out an application form, which will be submitted to the Director by his Sponsor. If the application is found to be acceptable, the sponsoring Brother will appear before the Director to introduce the Candidate. This will be followed by the Candidate appearing for an interview with the Director. Upon the decision of the Director, in consultation with the Rector General, the Candidate will be admitted to the Postulancy.
